Im alter von zwei Jahren schenkte mir der Grossvater eine Modellbahn mit einer Lima - Re 6/6 und seit dieser Zeit hat mich auch die Bahn fasziniert ! Mein Bruder Marcel und ich bauten dann ab etwa 1991 im Keller der Eltern ein Modell der Gotthard Nordrampe rund um die Kirche von Wassen ( Muhletunnel - untere Meienreussbrucke - Kirchbergtunnel - Wattingerkurve - Wattinger / Wattingen Kehrtunnel - Rohrbachtunnel - Bahnhof Wassen - mittlere Entschigtal Galerie - mittlere Meienreussbrucke - Leggistein Kehrtunnel - obere Meienreussbrucke - obere Entschigtal Galerie - Kellerbachbrucke ) in H0 Gleichstrom ! Die Anlage ist im Hundeknochenprinzip aufgebaut mit je einem Schattenbahnhof oben und unten an der Bergstrecke und einem Abstellbahnhof ganz unten ! Dank der Spurwechsel und umpolbarer Gleise kann man aber auch immer uber einzelne Abschnitte einspurig fahren ! Lange Zeit lag die Anlage nun " brach " aber dank dem Interesse vom Cousin Andre habe ich nun auch wieder freude daran gefunden ! Lokomotiven sind hauptsachlich von der schweizer Firma HAG am fahren, wobei fur mich die Re 6/6 nach wie vor das Lieblingsmodell ist ! Auch im Zeitalter von Computer ... ist dies ein sehr schones Hobby da man sehr gestalterisch tatig sein kann ! . . ****************************************************************************************************************** Isebahnele mit Andre am 15. A young African-American girl named Precious has a stomachache, so she has to stay at home alone while the whole family leaves to plant corn. Precious's older brother warns her with a wink that, you never know, Pruella the Boo Hag could even try to get in: "She's tricky and she's scary, and she tries to make you disobey yo' mama." Sure enough, the shapeshifting Pruella shows up, first as a big, mean force with lightning hair and burning-cinder eyes; then as a friendly-looking, but more-than-slightly off visitor asking for a drink of dirty dishwater; then as a strange, raspy-voiced facsimile of her friend Addie Louise; and finally, as a copper penny. Clever Precious never falls for the Boo Hag's half-baked disguises (the Boo Hag "aine too smart") and her family is proud to find her at home safe and sound. Kyrsten Brooker's wonderfully expressive, mixed-media collage illustrations shine with as much humor, motion, and texture as the story.
